Both $8.80 and $11.40. respectively for the discs. $25 on iTunes, but HD, not SD like I thought. The $5 movie I bought was wizard of oz which iTunes has for $10. so exaggerated but point remains.
Steffen Posted December 11, 2019 Posted December 11, 2019 Toy Story 4 for $8.80 is a good buy, no doubt. The Lego 2 movie is only $9.99 on iTunes, and for that you get 4K Dolby Vision/Atmos. Wizard of Oz is also in 4K Dolby Vision on iTunes. Like DVD stores with their bargain tables, iTunes often has specials (under $5, under $8, etc.) that are worthwhile perusing, some great bargains can be had there.

Wimbo Posted December 14, 2019 Posted December 14, 2019 I've never owned a BD player. When DVD first came out, I bought the RCA. Other then that, If there is a movie released that I like the looks of, I'll go and watch it at the theatre. Over the last couple of years I've seen three. Generally watch Youtube.

Not trying to troll, but why specifically do you come to a home theater forum? If your viewing is generally YouTube, you could have all your av requirements met by a $400 tv

Ah no it's ok- it is just interesting given primarily the forum is for AV nuts, seems odd that someone with your stated viewing would be interested in AV. I mean my wife would nearly fall into your camp, if we weren't married... Well she would use netflix and youtube and that is about it... And she woulnd't care if on computer screen, tablet, or phone... But she'd never find her way here!

Sold the DSPA2000, 2070 3090 etc in the 90's. Used Toshiba RePro's. Sold the First Fujitsu Plasmas in the Country. Even had a 120" Grey screen with a JVC DLA-1 back in the day, but got board with it when the kids grew up.
