Unbelievable, it's still there. Look small but sound is not small.

@Earle: I didn't know when you pick up the stone box. What will you make it? show off some photo, bro. :-)

This will be a very special unit.

Granite chassis single ended 300B with dual rectifiers, TJ300B+ graphite output tubes (see below), TJ6SN7 driver tubes, Goldpoint attenuator.

Should be good for around 15 watts per channel.

300B+ compared to normal 300B

An un-named customer has financed the components for build, I'll be donating my time, the amp will either end up at auction or for sale, all proceeds will be going to charity.

Should have it running in around two months.

Cheers, Earle.

Bump.

The Buschhorns are still for sale.

Item: Tang-band 4" bamboo drivers in Buschhorn Mk2 (Also comes with a second pair of 4" twin cone drivers as well)

Location: Tootgarook. VIC. (Mornington Peninsula)

Item Condition: Good (Veneer finish with some marks)

Reason for selling: Maybe some Lowthers are on the way smile.png (here now :))

Price: $600.00

Payment Method: Pickup only - Cash, Paypal (+3%), Bank transfer

Extra Info: Due to size. Pickup only. I am willing to drive and meet halfway, say 2hrs at most.

These smaller horns are a bit more wife friendly
:)

Don't be put off by the small 4" full-range driver, these speakers create a sound much bigger than their small size would suggest. The biggest bass I have heard from a 4" driver to date. They are designed to use the rear wall / corner of your room to "extend" the rear firing horn.

They will go pretty loud with around 6 or 7 watts. Also a perfect match for a Leben, or other low powered valve amps or S.E.T's.

Below, the Dallas II's are the larger of the horns in the picture, the Buschhorn being the smaller ones.

I still remember listening to Earle's Buschhorns, the bass indeed was surprisingly good!
