Citroen Posted January 22, 2020 Posted January 22, 2020 I use these in a second system, with Audiolab 8000A and Pink Triangle TT. Lovely speaker and you can just spray paint the grill to match your decor. Mine are red. 1

Gordon Macfarlane Posted January 22, 2020 Posted January 22, 2020 I have gibbo's pair , they still sound magical. Drive the with solid state or valve and prepare for a very enjoyable musical experience. The op's pair have the advantage of coming with decent stands. 1
Artnet Posted January 23, 2020 Author Posted January 23, 2020 Thanks for the comments. These were also bought in hampstead. Must have been a good package as I still have the mission cyrus amp and the rega planar2 they sold me also. Still for sale
Bookaboo Posted January 24, 2020 Posted January 24, 2020 Anyone know how these match up to the Heybrook HB1? Are they a step up? I gave the Heybrooks atm but the Gale always seem to be spoken of in the same context, maybe because of the stands, just curious
Artnet Posted January 24, 2020 Author Posted January 24, 2020 Check out the discussion forums for info or the internet. They are a different speaker build etc, HB1 highly regarded. Still if your after a set of stands for you hebrooks they come with some gale 301's. Thanks for your interest.
