Neurone Posted July 15, 2021 Posted July 15, 2021 After a bit of a think, as I have played sever albums a few times, South Australian band, Shoalin Afronauts : Quest Under Capricorn gets the nod. 2

Luc Posted August 27, 2021 Posted August 27, 2021 Fav album of the week seems such a short time. What do you lot do after the week's finished? Chuck em into the not to be played for yonks stack or what? I think you need to expand the thread title to; Week>>> Month>>>A Look Back On The last 4 Weeks>>> and you have , 'This Months Best Album!' Which may or may not end up being this years 'Best Album' My "Best Discovered Of This Week" is this one, vinyl of course and the SQ is brilliant and the vinyl is so quiet you can hear the pressing guy turn the machine off after the tracks finish. 1
ZEN MISTER Posted August 27, 2021 Posted August 27, 2021 (edited) ……. and that would be ???? Lucius are you imbibing the raspberry cordial? Edited August 27, 2021 by ZEN MISTER 1

I think the thread title is perfect, aimed at those new finds that get multiple plays in a week, and is your current favourite, looks like you need to create a few new threads to cater for your categories outside a week Edited August 27, 2021 by awayward 1

Guest deanB Posted August 27, 2021 Posted August 27, 2021 C.W. Stoneking- Gon' Boogaloo Bear in mind that this entry was fuelled by at least 3 big cans of Kopparberg cider (7%) but it really was a trip. No weaknesses, big sound, C.W. makes his mark on this weeks soundscape.
Janjuggler Posted August 28, 2021 Posted August 28, 2021 Hi All, An album I purchased on the second RSD this year, but firstly gave it an Ultrasonic Clean and quick play as background whilst doing some housework, I have had a couple of longer listens over the past week and find that some of the 'alternative versions' I prefer to the ones on the original release, it is Crosby Stills Nash & Young with Taylor and Reeves, Alternates. 4
April Snow Posted August 28, 2021 Author Posted August 28, 2021 (edited) This week I have been rather lazy not playing LPs but have been spinning those shiny silver things as I have also been sick this week - but really enjoying these two very much. Prince Welcome 2 America 2021 (Of course have the Deluxe Vinyl of this as well - coz I am an addict - LOL) And thanks to @TerryO & his lovely lady for introducing me to this band - I have been listening to London Grammar and of course brought all their CDs because that is just something I do when I find someone I like (AA for me = Audio Anon) LOL Edited August 28, 2021 by April Snow 6
rowbo Posted August 28, 2021 Posted August 28, 2021 An unlikely duo (to me initially) but saw their npr tiny desk spot and was intrigued. The wife enjoys the album also (or maybe it's just Sting) 2
