Of the many CD's and vinyl albums to have entered my home this week, this one is the one that has caught my ear in a BIG way.

Andy Shauf ‎– Neon Skyline - brand new album on Anti records.  Canadian Andy Shauf's music has such a beautiful MOR 70's feel and his voice is so soothing - wonderful sounding simple recording and excellent pressing.

This will be on the play list a lot this week.    check him out.

Hi All,

Experiments In The Subconscious by Øresund Space Collective, have been listening on my Fiio whilst interstate the last 9 days, it is a mix of Psychedelic Rock, Afrobeat, Jazz Fusion, and Pop Synth. It is an album that there is just a lot to take in as there is a lot of subtlety throughout the album.

Air - Pocket Symphony, electronic music by French duo Nicolas Godin and Jean-Benoît Dunckel. Still as fresh today as when released 13 years ago.

Simply Red - Picture Book. If you see one of these just grab it. You don’t have to like their music as I do :), It is one the best sounding records that I have. No MoFi, 200 grams or anything like that just the standard Oz pressing.

Sad old Red is my favourite song

That past week has seen Father John Misty ~ God's Favourite Customer have several spins, a stripped back album compared to Pure Comedy, perhaps a little more gritty.

Coverdale to Dio to Jorn Lande and now Dino Jelusic' is about to take the baton.   Stunning voice.   Frontier Records are having him pop up all over the place within their stable of artists.

This CD is all Dino with guitar maestro George Lynch and it has been on high rotation these past weeks.

Great Classic Rock album with Dino's vocals Killer.    Turn it up to 11.

This week's Favourite Album is :

Oresund Space Collective, Slip into the Vortex

An electronic / dub / psychedelic album from the Copenhagen based band. Their albums are free flowing, jam sessions at times, with 30 'floating' members who come and go as necessary. I have played this and their other LP I own several times this week

Almost chucked that on yesterday when I got my TT sorted out.

This is my AOTW,

Glen Hansard

Rhythm and Repose

2012.

Solo Album featuring a few tracks from the Once movie/stage show. Just beautiful easy listening for a week when a little calm is required.

What sort of storage are you using? Looks like all in a rack like a music shop, looks good.

Ive been playing this a bit on Spotify and now on YouTube at work.

Mr Leon Russell and Friends - Vine Street Theatre Homewood Session.

Real musicians making real music. With friends like Jim Horn and the respect he shows to an old Furry Lewis, it makes this one of the great all time sessions.

Fleetwood Mac Rumors for me ATM...

I've recently picked up the 3CD edition of Fleetwood Mac's Rumors.  I enjoyed the album when it was big, never obsessed by it, finding I loved some tracks an others less memorable.

Have been really enjoying the (3rd CD) disk of demos.  Looking forward to listening to the (2nd) live disk - they were a great live band.

Why I used to buy best of albums. An LP release always had songs that were not much chop.
I got The best of ELO last
Volume 2 was only released on LP in Spain but Vol 2 has a lot of gr4eat stuff

This week’s favourite Frank Sinatra ol’ blue eyes is back. Fantastic album and the sound quality is great, Oz pressing.

Hi All,

I have been playing some David Bowie, his earlier recordings, with The Man Who Sold The World several times, lyrically exceptional and the LP is still very good sounding for coming up 50 years soon .

Hi @April Snow Elusive Disc (USA) has this on sale at the moment:

Madonna Madame X 2LP (Rainbow Picture Disc)

I have found Elusive Disc excellent to deal with.

Most muso's would kill for 3 or 4 good tracks on a 13 track CD.   Mr Kotzen at the ripe old age of 50 had just celebrated his birthday with a 3 CD pack of 50 songs.

Over the past 3 weeks I have been cycling through 1cd at a time and back again.    I find it had to find a track on it I don't like.   Sure they are not all brilliant but I haven't found a stinker in the bunch.   Many, many gems and no fillers.    Kudos to RK and his amazing talent.

Thank you so much for letting me know - shall check it out, but wonder about overseas shipping at this time? Might be risky? DHL are no longer sending parcels ?

Will be glad when it all gets back to normal that is for sure, like we all will be.

Appreciate your letting me know - Happy Easter xx
