Currently set up in tri-amped, aktiv mode, so no internal crossovers. Bass,id and treble aktiv cards for LK series amplifiers included in the sale. I also have the passive crossovers, which can be reinstalled for use in single amped systems. Feel free to contact me with any questions. 075Congo Posted March 2, 2020 Posted March 2, 2020 Just wondering re the porting of these loudspeakers; on the rear or out through the base of the loudspeaker. What is the optimal placement in an average room (if such a beast exists) They look stunning and I would pick them up! Cheers
jdphoto Posted March 2, 2020 Author Posted March 2, 2020 Hey mate, these are a non ported design. Placement is best close to rear wall, 100-150mm in my experience. And at lease 500mm from side walls. Very controlled and precise sound from these. I hope this helps
Saxe Posted March 2, 2020 Posted March 2, 2020 Nice Speakers, I really do like mine. I have them in passive mode in my second system, close to the wall at about 8" and away from corners. Positioning tips from the manual: "KABER speakers have been designed to perform best when placed close to a wall.
