Please note that the committee has decided that due to ongoing Coronavirus concerns there will be no monthly general meetings or home meetings until further notice.

 

Hi everyone,

 

Sadly I am writing to inform you that the March GM will be cancelled. Similarly all home meetings must also be cancelled.

 

This decision was not taken lightly but was made after much enquiry. It is evident that we must all play our part in helping to contain the spread of this virus. The ramifications for not doing so are potentially grave indeed.

 

Apart from the obvious physical passing on of a very contagious disease there are many unknowns not the least of which is the ability for our insurance to cover a pandemic. Also, the great majority of our members fit into the most dangerous demographic this ailment affects.

 

At the moment this applies to the March GM and any home meetings prior to the April GM. We shall be doing a lot of checking our position in the near future and we shall revise our position, on a month to month basis, as the pandemic advances.
