Is this the norm? worried about scams etc. I joined up about 3 or 4 years ago. Don't remember anything about a photo but things change all the time. I do remember the process of joining and starting to post had me swearing a lot and there's no way I would have done it if it was just to chat and kill some time. 1

Hergest Posted April 26, 2020 Posted April 26, 2020 I think they're crash hot on stopping bots and dodgy characters now which is probably making it a right pain in the backside for those that mean no harm to anyone. 2
muon* Posted May 1, 2020 Posted May 1, 2020 (edited) I'd send them a pic of my.... Eh, likely not helpful If you do need to, and I'm not saying that you do as I was only on there a couple of months several years ago and never had to. But I'd be inclined if it is a requirement to use a photo that is not like an ID photo used for pass ports or a license. Edited May 1, 2020 by muon*
Synodontis Posted May 1, 2020 Posted May 1, 2020 Never head of it but it could be a new thing. I'd just grab an advertising picture off google images, crop & use that lol. You van always change your avatar once account is open.

eman Posted May 1, 2020 Posted May 1, 2020 Not really new but it is a requirement now. Relo tried to get on. They wanted a photo so she delayed the process and got her email blacklisted after 2 weeks. Now she can't apply using thst email cos they think she's dodgy. Do as they ask and then try to change it later.
