Richard Gresham Posted June 9, 2020 Posted June 9, 2020 Further information: A lovely set of the highly regarded Linn Kaber 'LS500', the version 2 of this speaker, which features the updated tweeter (a real highlight) and the, somewhat rare, 'Granite Composite' (some call it 'Kustone' or artificial stone) which was designed to add a better bass response/depth and stability to the speakers. They also feature multiple wiring options including single, Bi & Tri or Active wiring which is fairly unusual. I've been running them as a simple single input and they perform very well. Overall these speakers are in great condition however there is slight damage (looks worse in the photo) to the top rear corner on one speaker and one of the bases had been broken at some stage and fixed by simply glueing the base back together. I have tidied this up and painted both bases to match the front panel on the speakers. (You can't see the fix unless you turn the base over.) Both original 'stocking material' grill covers are in good condition. Pics are part of the description.
