Grumpy Posted July 3, 2020 Posted July 3, 2020 (edited) I recently lost my ring somewhere which I've worn every day for the last 45 years. What makes this a relevant SNA story ? Well! long term SNA'rs might remember that this ring fell apart when I was cutting a new River Redgum plinth for my Garrard 401 a few years ago - the hardest thing I've ever cut with a hand held jigsaw - and while doing so the diamond and all it's surroundings fell out never to be seen again except for some black crumbs of the surround. So, I fitted a sliver of the plinth redgum to the ring and loved the fact that a bit of my TT went with me everywhere; until. I noticed last week the ring had gone and I can't find it anywhere. I never took my ring of,f but it was feeling a little loose for some time. Oh well I feel naked after 45 years of the ring being on my finger and now it's not. BUGGER! sorry about the very bad pic. rodders3 Posted July 3, 2020 Posted July 3, 2020 Geez, if the diamond you lost was as big as that chunk of redgum I'd still be spewing over that! Hope you find it mate.
