Viognier Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 Sun Kil Moon - Universal Themes 2xLP There seems to be a bit of backlash against this newest release. I have no idea why this is so, as it is just as emotive as Benji, IMVHO. Perhaps because he is an absolute tool. Doesn't matter how good his music is I won't be buying any. 2

soundfan Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 (edited) Stuart Hamm: Radio Free Albemuth I've had this on LP for many years, hardly ever played. Time to let it free. A nice rock/jazz/fusion album showcasing Hamm's great talent on bass guitar. Joe Satriani is on board for 3 tracks. Liking this a lot. Edited September 10, 2015 by soundfan 2

Jesco Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 Two somewhat underrated albums. Gary had (in hindsight) passed his peak, but these two albums have their own journey that's well worth taking. The spark is still there. 1
hired goon Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 Freaky ... I got the CD of this in the mail yesterday ... listened to it last night ... Gazza going a bit Japan with Mick Karn playing fretless bass and Rob Dean on guitar. --Geoff 2

cazzesman Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 Something about this CD just grabs me. Not their best but I just like the 'vibe' of the thing. Regards Cazzesman
