I figured that you may like to have a Friday arvo laugh and the Beeswax fuses are a new horizon 🤪

Why not just say what you think of them instead of roping others into the thread 👍😃😋

Because I thought you may have been interested. No roping intended or implied.

Apologies, my bad.

Yep .. one upmanship at its finest.  I am still waiting for someone's justification for making a comment "XYZ cables are no good".

That's already been done in a blanket way.

Dont know about the justification but the reason is explained here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Internet_troll. Classic trolling behaviour

In Internet slang, a troll is a person who starts flame wars or intentionally upsets people on the Internet. This is typically done by posting inflammatory and digressive,[1] extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community (such as a newsgroup, forum, chat room, or blog), with the intent of provoking readers into displaying emotional responses[2] and normalizing tangential discussion.[3] This is typically for the troll's amusement, or to achieve a specific result such as disrupting a rival's online activities or manipulating a political process. Even so, Internet trolling can also be defined as purposefully causing confusion or harm to other users online, for no reason at all.[4]

Ordered a fake accuphase this evening for the phono stage. It’s the only component with removable power cord at present... maybe that’s not such a bad thing?

Thanks for the info fellas

Just remember,  cables make no difference what-so-ever. The improvements we hear is all in our head. We be crazy people :P

Don't know who told you that, or are you trying to get a bite? Just remember that depending on where the cable is, in your system, it may, or may not make a difference.

I'm just having a dig at the unbelievers. Not a great idea but I was feeling cheeky for a moment. It's passed now..... I think  ;)

There's a reason I'm running high quality cables throughout my system,  and different cables at different locations in the chain  :)

Jerry Ramsey who has run Audio Magic (USA) since 1990 is the guy behind using "beeswax" in his audio fuses. Not big on mouse **** but his products have quite a following worldwide. Have a look at his website you'll find it interesting.

$225 US.... Might be a little much for me.  I've just received my first Aucharm branded sterling silver fuses. About $8 a pair. I'll get around to trying them eventually. See if they make an audible difference in my system. If so I may go wild changing all my fuses. ;)

Like to chip in here as well seeing as both @MattyW  and  @muon* have praised the fake Accuphase 40th Anniversary power cable...I bought one to see what the fuss was about and was immediately impressed with it's improvement to my 6L6GC Valve's musical output....cleaner finer detail and spaciousness in the sound-stage...

In comparison to my Isotek it's like comparing a python to an earth worm in thickness...amazing heft!

Which Isotek power cable were you comparing to the AliAccuphase power cable out of interest?

Just remember.  Accuphase don't actually make power cables.  They're just fantastic performing fakes.

And the Isotek appears to retail for about $130 or $140 for 1m.
