bogen chb 20A

Hey e'budy.

I've got an old bogen chb 20A and thought I might convert it to guitar.

The pre'amp section has a 6eu7 and the power section has 2 6au86.

I've got the original tubes and one is a bit discolored.

The problem I'm having is the input fuse blows

after about 5 seconds with the tubes in or out.

What could cause that, the output tranny or a cap or what?
