UGLY hi fi equipment

C'mon all, lets have a bit of fun and show us what you think is the ugliest hi fi around.   I will start with a ripper new release.

No doubting their ability, but I've always thought these things were hideous,

Morel's fat lady speakers are up there for me too, which is a shame as they sound devine.

I've flat out got to say the Linkwitz LXmini etc, are up there with some of the least visually appealing designs I've seen. Reminds me of some of the worst of DIY car audio. 

 

 

And, despite me wanting to build them, that LX521 top design is pretty hideous too. But as Linkwitz sez, "Don't change it. Try to get used to it."

Vivid Gaia range but after hearing them I don't care anymore. They are amazing

but I can see where you are coming from and as for the mini's , I think its fair to say plumbing on speakers and good looks , never the twain shall meet.

 

I think the walnut lx521 doesnt look too bad??

Agreed on the looks tho like them in the right colour, but they remain one of the best speakers I have ever heard
