Thor C2+ Duo worth it?

I saw the Thor C2 Duo listed on eBay for $40, sounds like a good deal, it usually retails RRP $129.

 

Is worth connecting the Amp and streamer/DAC to it?.

I have found in the past with some of the Thor filter boards, they have reduced the dynamics when I plug an amplifier into them.

Might be good for your streamer/Dac though and plug your amp direct to the wall.

I have two of the DUO's daisy chained for power feeding my CD Player, the improvement was quite noticeable.

 

I grabbed mine when they were selling for $10 each via a Radio Rentals clearance.

 

I also found the same thing as Rocky above, I would not recommend the Thor boards for amplification either, but for sources go for it.
