Haven't been used last 3 years as bought a Naim Nova and can't justify keeping it any more. Have not missed a beat. milesmelb Posted April 16, 2021 Author Posted April 16, 2021 I don't find much difference between the Nova and the DAC to be honest. The Nova is a tad warmer I find especially when playing FLAC, not sure why. For wav, really not much difference. I guess given the original price, DAC ~$4k and the Nova at $8k, you could expect them to be fairly equal. The Nova is pretty good piece of kit I find particularly for the money. The Star is great as well, was going back and forth between the two. 1
