Looking forward to the prelims over the weekend. They are often better games than the grand final and it's the last chance to see huge supporter involvement.

Should be 90K plus crowd at the MCG this evening and, as an impartial observer, may the best team dressed in orange win 🙂

........and into the GF, go the Pies,.......good luck to Brisbane and the Blues tomorrow, should be a great game to watch after tonight.

So glad that is over 😵‍💫   ~ole 🌵

How many undeserved lucky wins can Carlton string together?

The AFL would like them to get one more I suspect........

I got sick of my Apple watch warnings about high heart rate whilst stationary :frantics:. Probably didn't get back to normal for 30-40 minutes post siren.

Wearing my Pies scarf proudly today.

I thought the Blues were going to get close last night after that brilliant start but, in the end, Brisbane were too good, all over the ground.

And what a cracker of a game! Umpiring could have been better but it's hard to beat a Collingwood team with a slender lead in the last few minutes.

Looking forward to the GF.

Can Brisbane break their MCG curse?

I will be watching at a mates place with some Collingwood supporters. He and I concocted  a half time dessert recipe for such occasions-the Colliwobbles - cauliflower in lime  jelly. It has a perfect jinx record so far!

An enthralling grand final. The score and margin was representative of the difference between the two sides.

Agreed. A GF for the ages with the winners being the marginally better side on the day.

Also great to see Bobby Hill, a WA guy who overcame testicular cancer last year, deservedly get the Norm Smith medal.

Congrats to the Pies!

What a day - it was an emotional rollercoaster of a game and we thought we were done in the final stages.

But needless to say, thrilled with the result - from a whole family of mad supporters!

I seriously can't handle games like that one. But what a game!

A great game but even more important was Pendles celebrating 400 games. A true champion!

As was Dusty who announced his retirement this morning.

I am a very embarrassed Swans fan.

What is it with Swans and Grand finals lately?

They have certainly had a bad run in GFs but you have to hand it to Brisbane yesterday. They totally outplayed Sydney and, as an impartial watcher, it was great to watch.

Just found the Sports section..

Very happy Lions fan here, especially after last year' s pain.

One of the great finals runs in AFL history and couldn't be happier for Chris Fagan
