I am getting no love from either the amp or cap manufacturer

Purchased these caps going by the high praise and value for money

https://www.hificollective.co.uk/components/miflex-kpcu-01-copper-foil-capacitors.html

The information about these caps states –

“The line on the label (at the shorter lead-out end) indicates the outer foil. This should be connected to the point of lowest impedance/signal output / AC end”

My Elekit TU 8600S amplifier application will be used as bypass capacitors and has no polar specific marking on PCB (non-polar original caps are installed)

So, can I install the KPCU-01 not orientation specific?

Thanks for any help

Lo and behold, I just received a reply from Elekit -

"The side of the outer foil should be connected to the plate site of the first stage.
i.e., inner foil side should be connected to the grid side of the following stage.
Please refer to the manual circuit diagram".

Being a novice not knowing grid side of the following stage is, attached PDF schematic highlighted positions C103/C104/C203/C204

Also attached PCB web pic of the 4 V caps in these positions

The schematics is drawn with signal flow from left to right so the "following" stage will be on the right side of the caps shown in the pic.  Grid of the output 300B is pin 3, easy to see on the schematic.   However, IMO, "polarity" of film caps is way down the list of things that will improve the sound of an amp.  Allocate your valuable brain-space accordingly 🙂

Yup, outer foil to lowest impedance side, that would be the previous stage in a signal coupling situation, or to ground in a decoupling situation.

Edit: installed as above offers better noise rejection.

Thanks everyone for the solid explanations

I value your time and effort
