Guest Posted May 27, 2002 Posted May 27, 2002 any1 heard of this speaker manufacturer? their products: speakers, subwoofers, etc nice or not?
dbchoong Posted May 27, 2002 Posted May 27, 2002 Nice! ;D If you want to see/hear them, go to The Home Theater Room @ IMM Jurong East. Level 1, near Burger King. Used to own their 1st sub/satellite the Pattern 100. Had it for 7 years and still sounded good. Sold it last year before I shifted. The current HT speakers are pretty good. :)
Louis1624705738 Posted May 28, 2002 Posted May 28, 2002 Atlantic Technology speakers are ok but rather expensive though IMO.
Guest Posted May 28, 2002 Posted May 28, 2002 dbchoong, some1 offered $180 for Atlantic sub model 100, not sure whether issit the same as urs 1...
dbchoong Posted May 28, 2002 Posted May 28, 2002 Should be same, mine was the Pattern 100. When I bought mine in 1993, I paid $499. I sold mine last year for $150. It's a sub-sattellite speaker system like the Bose AM5. The satellites have twistable heads. Output is 15Wx2 for the satellites and the sub is 30W. It looks like this: dbchoong, some1 offered $180 for Atlantic sub model 100, not sure whether issit the same as urs 1...
forests_gump Posted May 28, 2002 Posted May 28, 2002 I assume you guys are talking 2.1 system here. Personal recommendation : Value and good sounding. Creative's Cambridge Microworks.
dbchoong Posted May 29, 2002 Posted May 29, 2002 Used to own the Microworks too. Gave it to my dad to "beef up" the TV sound. Not in the same class as the Atlantic Technology. Even when the Atlantic Tech's were 7 yrs old and the Creative was brand new, the AT sounds so much better. But yes, the Microworks are ok for the price. :) I assume you guys are talking 2.1 system here. Personal recommendation : Value and good sounding. Creative's Cambridge Microworks.
