pcking1624705747 Posted July 18, 2002 Posted July 18, 2002 Is anyone into the above ? It's actually DTS or AC3 encoded audio tracks recorded on a normal CD or CDR media. Slightly lower quality than DVD-audio. Not to be played back on systems without the decoding capability as it will produce high hiss noise. Wonder if the records company will adopt this format in future.
Jag Posted July 18, 2002 Posted July 18, 2002 There are DTS only audio CD in the market, but I think not much business sense to produce more DTs audio cds since the whole market is still waiting for DVD-A and SACD to fight themselves out. No AC-3 CDs thou. U could make them on CD-R.....
Tyler_Durden1624705741 Posted July 19, 2002 Posted July 19, 2002 I can't find Titanic DTS CD in stores :( I've been looking for it in Music Warehouse.
