Which Cinema in Singapore has the best HT system for movies? heard orchard cineplex? saw their DTS,Dolby Digital , THX plaques at their counters and also their touchscreens via ordering tickets Power! anyone guys..? thanks.. just want to know more options to view movies..

Which Cinema in Singapore has the best HT system for movies? heard orchard cineplex? saw their DTS,Dolby Digital , THX plaques at their counters and also their touchscreens via ordering tickets Power! anyone guys..? thanks.. just want to know more options to view movies.. try this search : http://www.dolby.com/theatres/TheatreSearch_Region.cfm?Region=Asia however, was told only Lido 3 (or 2...i forgot) got THX suround ex...that's why i watch my 2nd time Attack of the Clone at there...it is totally diffrent experience as my 1st time at suntec Eng Wah which only have Dolby Digital decoded.... i think sgp only got 2 cineplex got THX features at selected hall...Cathay cineplex at orchard and Lido...u might want to ask the manager, those ticket seller will answer u all hall got surround.... anyway most film are Dolby coded and most cinema in s'pore are with Dolby surround, so just select ur most comfortable seat cinema will do :)

My low-end HT sound much better!! Anyway, if you do not want to go all the way to the city to catch a movie, then the neighbourhood GV cinemas will be good enough. Just my opinion.

Lido 1 seems to have its sound system calibrated as it had very rich and active surround sound when I saw Red Dragon and Harry Potter there. EngWah Suntec have JBL speakers and better surround than the other smaller cnemas.
