poo Posted August 27, 2007 Posted August 27, 2007 I have decided to sell my Ray Samuels Audio "The Hornet". I find myself using my portable gear less than ever, and using my home setup more - so I plan to sink some more $ into the home setup... This tiny, powerful amp is in perfect condition. It is from one of the very first batches of Hornets Ray created (serial #9071). This kit originally cost over $650. I'm looking for $480 Included in the sale are: 1 x "The Hornet" black with gold print 1 x power adaptor 1 x original box 2 x Tysonic 9v Rechargeable (brand new & unused, still with the seals on!) 1 x Accupower 8.4v Rechargeable (used for ~6 months) 1 x Black Dragon mini to mini Cable (13inch/35cm) 1 x RnB Audio mini to mini Cable (7 inch/18cm) 1 x Sik iPod Docking Cable (FORGOT TO PHOTOGRAPH, BUT WILL INCLUDE) I will also include the Oakley soft case that I have used to protect the unit since I misplaced the soft pouch included. Images of all items are below For larger versions of images: http://img104.imagevenue.com/img.php?image..._122_1052lo.jpg http://img104.imagevenue.com/img.php?image..._122_1052lo.jpg http://img148.imagevenue.com/view.php?imag...k_122_971lo.jpg http://img128.imagevenue.com/view.php?imag...le_122_42lo.jpg http://img19.imagevenue.com/img.php?image=...e_122_686lo.jpg I am happy to accept paypal if buyer absorbs the fees, otherwise direct deposit.

poo Posted August 27, 2007 Author Posted August 27, 2007 Correct - it is the original version. I have spoken to Ray about the possibility of chaing it to the M version, and (to my surprise) he said he would be happy to do the modification at no charge, so long as I payed to ship it to him! Ray has been great to deal - his customer support is truly above and beyond. Sorry - I should have added that the M version is not 'beter' so much as different. The bonus with the original version is that it will not be made with these exact components again, so it is limited to those originally made. Most agree that the sound is 'warmer'.
