Darren69 Posted May 21, 2016 Posted May 21, 2016 Had a few Mountain Goat Steam Ales with the old fella this arvo, very nice!! My fave out of the MG's I think. Proper cloudy ale, quite floral without being another me too Little Creatures.

Darren69 Posted May 26, 2016 Posted May 26, 2016 what style is the big scrub? Big Scrub is a lager fezzy and quite nice. In a glass it works right to the last drop as well. Am not a fan of Murrays brews usually but that one is one of the nicest IPA's I have had!
Darren69 Posted June 2, 2016 Posted June 2, 2016 This isn't bad- http://craftypint.com/beer/3906/new-england-brewing-co-dark-farmhouse' Give one a nice warm and fuzzy after a tallie. Darren69 Posted June 5, 2016 Posted June 5, 2016 I like the occasional Bombadier, have not tried the others. Will have my usual Winter sunday arvo effort this arvo, a 4 pack of Cascade Stout and a few tunes, hmm, might start the cable comparo! Maybe not with alcohol, it makes everything sound good, haha. 1
Gieseler Audio Posted June 21, 2016 Posted June 21, 2016 (edited) Dan Murphy's has some nice fully imported Peroni Nastron Azzurro 250 mill Piccolas at the moment. Expiry date is July 2016 so they are running them out at $38 case. https://www.danmurphys.com.au/product/DM_476731/peroni-nastro-azzurro-250ml Not cheap but leaves the locally brewed Peroni for dead! Darren69 Posted June 23, 2016 Posted June 23, 2016 (edited) BIG cold front coming across NSW this weekend, radio this morning spoke of snow at Oberon etc . Will tuck my singlet into my undies for the ride to Ballina today to get Das Toecutter serviced (BMW K1300R). Edited June 23, 2016 by Darren69 1
Cloth Ears Posted June 23, 2016 Posted June 23, 2016 Just finished washing the 76 bottles I'm going to need to bottle my first brew for about 2 years. A lighter (in colour) version of my standard brew based on West Coast and Work Horse yeasts. Seems to be tasting OK from the extracts to measure gravity of the wort, so Im hoping for good things. 2
caddisgeek Posted June 24, 2016 Posted June 24, 2016 Going straight to the local bottle shop after I get off he train and getting some Red Duck Porter Unless they have some more Anchor Stout in
Darren69 Posted July 3, 2016 Posted July 3, 2016 Ooh that all looks great Bro Beto. I also got some porter/stout glasses thu arvo. Canna tell much difference drinking from them or straight from the bott.
betocool Posted July 3, 2016 Posted July 3, 2016 I brought these glasses from Amsterdam (some bought, some, ehrm... acquired along the way). Would be a shame not to use them. Depending on my mood, sometimes bottle, sometimes glass. 1
frankn Posted July 3, 2016 Posted July 3, 2016 Trying this brewer tonight, flavoursome, fruity with nice hop overtones. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2
