Darren69 Posted August 4, 2016 Posted August 4, 2016 @@The Fez just the pic, she was working. Try the Moo Brew single hop that I linked to earlier, a very nice drop. I must be over winter, am drifting away from the black stuff again but it's hard to find a nice naturally tasty lager I reckon. Or I'm a snob.

A very tasty unpastuerised pils, weighing in at 5.5%! Tastes like a 4% beer.

Darren69 Posted August 4, 2016 Posted August 4, 2016 Ah the old silver bullet, had a few of those by Christ.
Jone5y Posted August 4, 2016 Posted August 4, 2016 They were out of popularity by the time I was of drinking age. Had some for a larf one night - I reckon it's an underrated drop compared to much of the current standard swill on offer. Easy to see why it was so well liked (and also maligned) in its heyday 1
Darren69 Posted August 4, 2016 Posted August 4, 2016 Yes, Reschs make good mainstream grog, usually why I go for in establishments where the choice is somewhat, umm, limited. 1
The Fez Posted August 5, 2016 Posted August 5, 2016 Ah the old silver bullet, had a few of those by Christ. as i always say -- straight out of the longneck...tastes better that way... 1
Darren69 Posted August 5, 2016 Posted August 5, 2016 as i always say -- straight out of the longneck...tastes better that way... I have told quite a few judges just that. One or two have agreed.

Darren69 Posted August 11, 2016 Posted August 11, 2016 The honey aftertaste can get quite big after a few but they are nice for a change now and then. Quality beer. 4

Jake Posted August 13, 2016 Posted August 13, 2016 My goodness this is a nice smooth drop. But I have to admit, after 7 or 8 one begins to feel a little tipsy. 3
