Beer drinkin' weather alright. Reminds me of drinking beer in Singapore. Cold beer on tap, a chilled jug filled with said icy cold Tiger, the chilled jug then placed into a ice slurry in a bucket. By gee, shes hot and humid up there -- Beer drinkin country alright..

@mtf  I have seen that at the local Dans, thanks shall give it a burl.

To combat the heat I have-

6 Birra Morelli

6 Monteiths Golden Lager (having one now)

4 Sierra Nevada Torpedo extra IPA

and a few Little Doves, Single Fins and Newtowners left over so that lot should get me through it all OK. :D

That is a mighty fine survival kit you got there:D

For sure - Yep had a few very cold Spearhead Pales, going down very easy. Never drink after eating - reminds me of that Sinatra monologue on the "Sinatra at the Sands" record -- "Dean (Martin) has a strict rule, there is no drinking after dinner, we eat at 3am, but there aint no drinkin' after dinner!"

Did you know that excess alcohol consumption can have a dehydrating effect?

Good thing Daz is such a moderate chap.

I have nothing good to report in here unfortunately. Choking down a carton of something very regrettable

Well after bashing the Yanks beer making skills (or lack of) up until now, I must say I am a huge fan of anything Ballas Point.

This is an excellent PA!!-

Got that beautiful fresh hoppy taste and a nice 5.5% alcohol level.

They make a ton of IPA's.

As mentioned elsewhere, their Sculpin IPA is also excellent, along with Sierra Nevada's 'Torpedo' in pint cans.

The Yanks can make a decent beer except when they use adjunct ingredients. They cut corners in the pursuit of savings and you end up with something like Budweiser. No thanks!

33 here this arvo so a couple of these going down well. The hop tart was too sour for my liking but the splice heaven was really nice with only a slight taste of fruitiness. At 6.8 it packs quite a wallop

Well this is a very delicious drop on this lovely warm day in Perth. Very smooth and the Tropical title is quite apt, there are some amazing flavours going on here:P

Shes not a cheap drop at $50 for 4 pints but she's a ripper.

I have a few Danish brand speakers for my ears and now this for my taste buds, DEJLIGE!

( I hope my translation app is right with that )

Really great store, worth a look if you get a chance.

Make no mistake, the cascades and Boags in Tassie is bloody good, am sure you guys keep the good stuff down there.

Enjoyed a few Wizard Smiths (?) when I was down there!

Am contemplating a few Torpedoes on the way home this arvo but haven't been drinking all week since the Animals As Leaders concert last weekend in Brissy and just feel so good so don't want to cruel it, haha!!
