dbchoong Posted April 16, 2019 Posted April 16, 2019 My 7011 randomly powers on and also sometime powers off by itself. I'm sure I disabled ARC HDMI control on both AVR and TV. The AVR is linked by LAN cable. Anyone experienced this before?
petetherock Posted April 17, 2019 Posted April 17, 2019 Bro try a reset first. Also disconnect all cables as well. Good luck.

Beside using xt32, REQ, SPL meter etc. TIA Bro If you figured that buying a high end AVR = good sound, sadly that's not true.. It's not a single magic button you can press. If you want that, you need to hire someone and pay him to do it. Otherwise, look around our forum and see the sticky by Bro Desray on Audyssey as a start point. Good luck and enjoy the journey. I'm still learning after 25 years.

desray Posted April 22, 2019 Posted April 22, 2019 awww... [embed=800,450] [/embed] ...We pay almost same price or more ex...Yet we get only 1yr warranty? Speaking of warranty, I also realised that most Japs products, be it AVR or even projector, the Japs almost always provide only 1 yr warranty. Anything beyond that, it will be out of the norm. That’s why Courts and Harvey Norman always try to sell us their extended warranty package to make it for another 2 yrs or some even 3yrs. Korean brands at least not so bad but for most of the Jap products I bought, it almost always come with 1 yr warranty. I could be wrong. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
petetherock Posted April 22, 2019 Posted April 22, 2019 Marantz prices have been creeping up over the years. No one complained when we paid 40% less than US prices, but USA is probably the consumer capital of the world.. so they get good prices And consumer rights.

iceblade88 Posted May 3, 2019 Posted May 3, 2019 Hi My SR7010 gives 0.5 second blinking light. I tried resetting by following Press power while simultaneously pressing GAME and A-DSX. I unplug everything except the power cable of course. [emoji23] Is the repair center is Trusty at Kallang? How much would you think the repair bill going to be? Thanks. petetherock Posted March 1, 2020 Posted March 1, 2020 FYI This is also happening on Denon amps which use vtuner: https://marantz-uk.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/7095 We understand that your vTuner Internet Radio service has changed suddenly. Here are the current symptoms that we have recognized so far: On an affected product, when you select “Internet Radio” and select a sub-menu, such as regional stations, recommended stations, the product doesn’t display radio stations, but “Please go to radiomarantz.com* for more info about vTuner’s full access service.”[/q] On radiomarantz.com*, when you press the button on the bottom, the web site requires for $3 contribution a year for full access to vTuner’s service. For going ahead the MAC address of your device is required. The MAC address can be found in the Setup Menu of your device under Network Info. As above, vTuner is currently giving you the option of continuing its service without limitation for a small annual subscription fee of $3. If you choose this option, then all vTuner services will be restored within your product upon payment. If you choose not to subscribe, then the vTuner service will be limited to only Added stations from radiomarantz.com* and Recently Played stations. No other stations will be searchable or accessible. This change comes directly from vTuner and Marantz has no control over their policy. We simply carry their service in our products. We again apologize for the inconvenience this has caused and hope we can continue to serve your needs in the future. * radiomarantz.com is a webpage operated by vTunerAffected models:SR7005, AV7005NR1602, SR5006, SR6006NR1603, SR5007, SR6007, SR7007, AV7701, AV8801NR1504, NR1604, SR5008, SR6008, SR7008NR1605, SR5009, SR6009, SR7009, AV7702, AV8802, AV8802ANR1506, NR1606, SR5010, SR6010, SR7010, AV7702(mk2)NR1607, SR5011, SR6011M-CR603, NA7004M-CR510, M-CR610, NA-11S1, MS7000NA8005, NA6005M-CR511, M-CR611

bornwild4 Posted June 8, 2021 Posted June 8, 2021 (edited) Hi, I had an Apple TV 4k plug to Marantz SR6015 At times, when I pressed back menu from Apple TV to return to home screen when I'm at youtube, netflix etc etc, the picture will not display on the TV. I need to manually switch back to other source from Marantz then I switch back to Apple TV then the picture will appear on my TV. Or sometime, I just hit back button from Apple TV a few times and when I'm lucky, I manage to get the picture back. Any idea why? My Setup: Apple TV 4K -> Marantz SR6015 -> Samsung Q70r Edited June 8, 2021 by bornwild4

I got the price from the Marantz distributor today. Absolute rip-off price quoted of SGD1,400 (the US price is "only" USD599 inclusive of pick up and delivery)!! I have no choice as a lightning strike cooked my Monitor 1 output and Aux 2 input! So I will have to change the HDMI board and may as well "upgrade". So need to grit my teeth and cough up. Outright price gouging by the local distributor. Still no ETA.....
