I know this is too late.. sorry, butr was busy moving at the weekend. JB Manulau have 3 Alien Egg sets @ $199 which would have been $140 after discount.. you could always ask if they'll still let you have the 30%off...

It's about $75 for the blu-ray anthology from Amazon UK - is the egg worth the extra $$?

Amazon UK has Terminator 2 - Judgment Day (Skynet Edition) [blu-ray] for £4.99 down to £4.25 with VAT removal, saving £20.00 It ships in 5 -10 days.

I've just placed an order and will see how long it takes to ship.

Hi, just wondering about the VAT, I havnt bought from amazon UK before so do you not pay the VAT if you are outside the UK or something?

Appologies if this is a stupid question!

what did you buy for $95?

Anyone here bought Lost Complete Series from the Lightning Deal last week?

Yeah I did, but looks like it isn't going to ship until late December, so most likely won't have it over the holiday break

As long as your shipping address is Australia, then VAT is taken off at the last checkout screen before you hit 'pay'. You will be able to see the reduced prices (ex VAT) before you commit to the purchase.

Amazon UK Harry Potter Collection years 1-6 Blu Ray - reduced to 16.99 pounds

With Potter sets, it always strikes me that if you buy anything now, you just KNOW you're going to get screwed one way or another: there are two more movies to go, there is absolutely positively going to be some sort of super-duper complete series boxset at the end, and no doubt there will be some sort of exclusive new extras in that set.  So I haven't bought any at all since the third movie (and on "old" DVD at that), and figure I'll wait for that box set.

ON the other hand, 17 quid for 6 movies is a damned good deal, and you can pick up the last two individually, and have the whole series, if you're not fussed about extras or having a matching set (or whatever).

Amazon Gold Box Deal is the Complete BSG Box Set (Including the Plan) for US$119.99

http://www.amazon.com/Battlestar-Galactica...CPSZHRRQXBEPQSK

2 warnings:

1. Amazon appears to have changed the default shipping to EXPEDITED, which from member experience is often slower than standard shipping

2. Amazon;s exchange rate, to pay in AUD, seems a bit of a rip off to me - you might be better off calculating the exchange charges via your credit card first.

Yep, good haul of oldies.

Not many new stuff, but if you like films from the 70s or 80s on BR, there are plenty of good bargains.

Got enough shampoo for a couple of years... :)
