imbest Posted February 1, 2010 Posted February 1, 2010 Awaiting for its arrival now......snatched it for less than USD150 :D Anybody using similar stuff? I gave up my HT and go for this because of the newborn.......
humyt Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 This certainly looks interesting, please do report back on the battery life once you have tested it. I am using this plus Sennheiser headphones: http://bluetin.com/victor-jvc-su-dh1-surround-sound-portable-headphone-amplifier.html?osCsid=a6e491371d1c4553e3506ddbd2f54d3b Sometimes I connect it to PS3 and Xbox360 for games 8)
rayleh Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 I used to have JVC and Senns headphone for Dolby Surround, this combi sounds good but now I am using Yammy AVR with my Senns headphone.
imbest Posted February 2, 2010 Author Posted February 2, 2010 still waiting for it to arrive at US borderlinx facility.... I got no more AVR (actually didn't buy eventually), no more solid speakers because of my baby.....so I ish bohbianz....lol I got an offer for SE-DIR800C II from Japan, but it cost additional USD100 more....dun think it's worth the value.... right now there is no lossless product for wireless Dolby headphone right? humyt, JVC module is not wireless.....but the good thing is you can connect to any headphone....
rayleh Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 Not that I know of. Anyway wireless is good to have so you can walk around. ;)
jimi1624705950 Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 Not that I know of. Anyway wireless is good to have so you can walk around. ;) I bought one of these a few years ago. Pretty good. But can get a bit hot under there and I think its line-of-sight wireless which can be a bit annoying. Now that I'm getting a better source, I'll take another look at it. But I'm hoping all my modest soundproofing will be just enough to allow me to listen without headphones ;)
imbest Posted February 2, 2010 Author Posted February 2, 2010 I got it for HT. So LOS is definately OK unless you're using it for Music. Should be infra-red....
