francis wu Posted May 4, 2011 Posted May 4, 2011 Just checked the pricing in Hkg at US$1,650. Shops in Adelphi selling for 3.5K.... :P Wow, the difference is huge... ??? ::)
Guest durianlover88 Posted May 4, 2011 Posted May 4, 2011 Keen to get this for my master bedroom set, but local price too much to bear ???
francis wu Posted May 4, 2011 Author Posted May 4, 2011 Join us at the Hkg hi-end audio/video show Aug 5 to 7th and you can bring this home...... ;D
mars73 Posted May 4, 2011 Posted May 4, 2011 bin tou mai ah in HK? I would also like to know as well. Cos I'm going HK in Jun/Jul and might want to buy one. Always interested but SG pricing is too much.
Guest durianlover88 Posted May 4, 2011 Posted May 4, 2011 I need it to support 240v, in order not to have problems later. Anyone know if HK pioneer models support 240v? How about doing a MO?
francis wu Posted May 4, 2011 Author Posted May 4, 2011 Bros, here it is.... http://www.hivizone.com Just call them and they will deliver to you anywhere in Hkg. You can ask them to ship to you too but don't know the shipping cost though. I normally check in my stuff at the airport.... :)
clitang Posted May 4, 2011 Posted May 4, 2011 Hi bro I am going to HK AV show. Don't mind to carry one back. May I know what so good about this AV amp and worth buying from HK (besides the lower selling price in HK) as compare the Denon or others? I am new to this. Thank you
francis wu Posted May 4, 2011 Author Posted May 4, 2011 Well, you can google the specs and reviews. The most important feature, IMO, is the 7.1 pure Class D amplification!!! Certainly very good for stereo and I am sure for HT as well, kill 2 birds with a stone..... :)
francis wu Posted May 4, 2011 Author Posted May 4, 2011 Another excellent feature is ... And that isn't all. The supplied standard remote control is not only well equipped with a backlit reversed LCD display, it is also an RF device. As radio frequency goes through walls to some extent, the amplifier can be hidden away in a cupboard or even a different room and still accept inputs from the remote. Moreover, as well as being programmable to control the brand's and other makers' kit via IR, the manufacturer has then thoughtfully supplied two IR magic eyes for any other kit you might want to hide away. Top marks! Above from a review.
Guest durianlover88 Posted May 4, 2011 Posted May 4, 2011 For me, it is Class D - cool for bedroom cabinet. Plus also 32bit DAC. Has PQLS aka Denon Link if using Pioneer BR player. Not necessary to have high end BR player also. Somehow this amp seems to score very well in reviews everywhere, but if at HK price and for my bedroom set, should not go wrong. Would use for stereo also when in room. Cannot replicate the main rig in bedroom. No space & not enough $$$
