cstanxpl Posted August 27, 2016 Posted August 27, 2016 Hmm. I had a missed call. Just four minutes later, I called back but he didn't want to answer. Did they re-deliver on their own? Or did you call them up to ask? They should do a re-delivery on their own. Usually 2 working days later. You can call them to escalate but should be to no avail.
BozQ Posted August 27, 2016 Posted August 27, 2016 Crap. I won't be at home in the morning. Need to tell them to come a bit later

Should not be a security risk, but if you're not sure then just wait a bit, I'm sure it's been reported and they're trying to resolve.

ootg Posted July 26, 2017 Posted July 26, 2017 I am actually disappointed by the current store: the offerings and pricing. The mark-up on goods is quite substantial, I do not see much incentive to shop with Amazon Singapore, as long as Amazon US keeps offering the free shipping deal. Example: I just ordered a digital measuring scale (Amazon Basics) on Amazon US for US$9.99. How much is it at Amazon Singapore? S$22.03! That is more than a 50% mark-up. The range of groceries is also not as wide as what both Cold Storage and NTUC offer. A&W Root Beer 4-Can Pack: Amazon $3.10; Cold Storage $3.15; NTUC $3.10 Coca Cola Zero 12-Can Pack: Amazon $8.50; Cold Storage $8.60; NTUC $8.50 Jacob's Creek Chardonnay: Amazon $28.00; Cold Storage $24.50; NTUC $24.95 Wolf Blass Yellow Label Chardonnay: Amazon $26.50; Cold Storage $26.50; NTUC $25.95 Meiji Fresh Milk 2L: Amazon $5.60; Cold Storage $5.60; NTUC $5.60 Marigold UHT Full Cream Milk 1L: Amazon $2.30; Cold Storage $2.40 (2@$3.25); NTUC $2.30 (2@$3.95) Royal Umbrella Rice 5kg: Amazon $14.20; Cold Storage $14.80; NTUC $14.20 Dumex Mamil Gold Baby Milk Formula Step 2 1.5kg: Amazon $79.50; Cold Storage $79.50; NTUC $79.50 As you can see, the prices vary, but these are only brand-name products. Both NTUC and Cold Storage also have their house brand items that usually sell for cheaper. I wonder what Amazon's strategy is in Singapore... I sure hope they do not end free shipping from the US!
Guest durianlover88 Posted July 27, 2017 Posted July 27, 2017 Sounds like Amazon Singapore is like another supermarket?
domho8 Posted July 27, 2017 Posted July 27, 2017 Sounds like Amazon Singapore is like another supermarket? I used Redmart quite often so far so gd. 50bucks or more free delivery. These days click a few items aldy more than 50s. [emoji2] Sent from my Redmi Note 4 using Tapatalk
petetherock Posted July 27, 2017 Posted July 27, 2017 I don't know if I should be worried, I tried to add Batman Lego to my cart and it doesn't ship to SG.. the rest were ok...
BozQ Posted July 27, 2017 Posted July 27, 2017 I don't know if I should be worried, I tried to add Batman Lego to my cart and it doesn't ship to SG.. the rest were ok... Wait. LEGO Batman the toy or the movie Blu-ray?
sonofdbn Posted July 27, 2017 Posted July 27, 2017 I don't know if I should be worried, I tried to add Batman Lego to my cart and it doesn't ship to SG.. the rest were ok... Did you choose the right vendor? Sometimes the item comes up with a vendor who is not Amazon that doesn't ship to SG. I was able to add the movie (Blu-ray) to my cart with no problem
BozQ Posted July 27, 2017 Posted July 27, 2017 Yeah. Pete, check your location again. I think you've selected US location. SG has zero Blu-rays for sale.
domho8 Posted July 27, 2017 Posted July 27, 2017 Bo delivery ah Sent from my Redmi Note 4 using Tapatalk
Jagdpanzer Posted July 27, 2017 Posted July 27, 2017 No delivery only happened 10 minutes ago. It is quite worth it to use the $20 promo code.

I was able to add the movie (Blu-ray) to my cart with no problem This one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06W53FHJJ/ref=ox_sc_sfl_title_2?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER "This item does not ship to Singapore, Singapore. Please check other sellers who may ship internationally." Not a big deal...
tiktokape Posted July 27, 2017 Posted July 27, 2017 It does ship to Singapore because I received this Batman Lego BR two weeks ago. It is common from time to time that some of BRs does not come through via Amazon. I never face such issues since I'm on prime. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
ootg Posted July 27, 2017 Posted July 27, 2017 Does not ship to SG? Gee, that's weird. Only the standard version which sells for US$9.99. The more expensive version ships to Singapore. I think that if you contact customer service, they may waive shipping for the standard version too.
