It should have jus been released in japan..

so sg should be getting it in 2-3months time..

but dont know if they will ever release here in sg, as the price will be way over inflated by the time it hits our shores...

I am on F/W 5.10 HDSIR.PRO OCT January 2013 (or 310.08.RU)

 

I want to either install the new free version (HDSIR without activation AUG 30 2014) or go back to the official firmware. I have not paid to activate the F/W I am on.

 

Is there any way I can do this? I have tried to install different F/W and it is stopping me...at wits end to be honest!

it should work.

remember to go to settings page to "load defaults" before loading any firmware.

then after that u can install free hdsir...

I tried to install that but it failed, it said it was corrupt. I did the "load defaults" before trying.

Your cash diamond supports 4tb usb hard drive?. Can I install it directly on Russian 5.10 firmware?

its weird that it says its corrupt..

i did not change anything in the firmware coding...

i have modded close to, or over 40 sets of various pioneers, wit no failures.

(140,150,160,450,LX55)

only thing i can see a pattern, is that whoever installs the 5.10 HDSIR.PRO OCT January 2013,

has this particular problem..

i really am stumped as to y this is happening....

I used your Cash Free CFW on a new Pioneer 450 (with 2.9 OF). It Works nice but NFS does not appear only DLNA. External srt subtitles appear ok but I cannot change its size and external srt subtitles with Bluray (either disc, iso or folder) are not read... Is this normal? It appears this free cfw is not fully functional...

Hmmmm...

sorry i can't answer that as i do not use the modded firmware other than jus playing with physical bluray discs..

i just need the region free capability N cinivia free capability.

as i buy discs from all over the world.

another thing is, i wonder y HDSir suddenly released all his firmwares to be free...

its good, but maybe its a timebased firmware to be locked up after a few months??

(something could have been written in the code to jus kill your player to silence!  ;D )

so, ver4.04 is what i can trust in.

I have been using HDSir Aug 30th 2014 free CFW from the Russian site for about 2 months without problems. Yesterday I was confronted with the Cinavia notice when playing Predestination. I confirmed Cinavia was active with another known Cinavia disc. The information screen says 2.12 as before & the 6666 screen says HDSir 2014 (activated). I installed preactivated 4.04 CFW but the info screen said 5.05 & Cinavia was still there. I  installed 'Cash Free' CFW (no problem) - still had Cinavia. I then downgraded to 'Cash 4.04' and reactivated. So far there seems to be no Cinavia but I have the disadvantages of the 4.XX CFW. Has anyone any idea what is going on here?

the HDSir free v5 has not been provided with an activator..(it was jus posted wildly on the internet)

I dunno wat is in that firmware in all honesty..

"ace of snakes" might be able to shed some light on it.

if anyone has a link to the v5 activator, do post it..

if only we can truly activate it, then i dont think any of these problems being encountered will pop up..

You have to join their Forum then send a PM via the 'Firmware Activation' link. They understand English & are keen to help. I now have a registered version of 5.10 HDSir Pro Oct 1 2013. It plays DVD isos (with a disc in the tray) & recognises my 4TB HDD. Also seems to have full network capability, but I haven't tried that yet. ;D

I want a bluray player that can play SACD ISO off of a hard drive or network as well as bluray ripped movies off hard drive or network and without issues with watermarks.

 

The thing is I really don't know where to find the info I need to hack all the different Pioneer models.

 

I have seen that maybe the Pioneer BDP-150 can be hacked and has all of these abilities once hacked.

 

If that is the case do any of you know where I can find info on doing that?  Where do I get the firmware? 

 

I am in USA and really just want an affordable way to do this.  I can get a used BDP-150 for well under $100.

 

If you have another recommendation for a unit that is hackable and costs less than or around $100 USD please let me know.

But be weary...this firmware for the bdp-160, is non reversible...

u will be stuck with this forever.

official firmware cant be installed back..

SACD/R Files also cant be played..
