Hi guys, below image shows the cables that I have decided to get for my Hifi system:

Total amounts to approximately ~USD$60.

I have read that Monoprice cables are VFM and the performance ain't bad either. Other affordable brand for cables are Canare, Belden, QED?

Are there better alternatives that I should consider?

Use the mono price 1st since u have not setup ur hifi. Then slowly try out the pricey cables n decide if want to change

Yes, that's probably what I'm going to do. I'm curious if there's a better alternative or comparable model that could fight Monoprice in terms of price/performance ratio. :)

diy cables. easiest way is to got to LHS and ask Robert for recommendation. He is not an audio guy but he knows what models are popular among audiophiles that go to him for cables. Some cables esp power cables are so popular that he has ready terminated ones for u to buy off the shelf.

Sounds good! Will drop by LHS and take a look before finalizing my decisions whether to get it from Monoprice.

@TheKremlin Is your place done?

Sir, I very much wish it is. About to settle 3D Drawings. But ID can only start work after CNY due to the high volume of work faced by his contractors during year end (peak period).

For my projects, I usually get everything from Robert; his HDMIs, and Belden speaker and coaxial cables. As for the RCA cables you can get Robert to get his people to terminate them for you bespoke like.

A thought for long speaker wiring usage, always try and use Pro grade stuff. Why? They're designed to stretch and twist as well as suffer a lot of abuse during laying. The jacket protects the internal wires from shorting from accidental cuts and nicks from abrasions if they're pulled across false ceiling metal bracing.

If you want to use less robust cables, you will have to consider using PVC piping and flexible hoses to protect them.

Does Robert also make USB and Ethernet cables?

As for the pro grade stuff mentioned above for speaker cables, are u referring to brands like Chord, Shunyata, Oyaide, Cardas, Nordost etc?

The protection options can be added on upon request when purchasing cables right?
