awty Posted May 1, 2017 Posted May 1, 2017 This is a camera for taking photographs, sometimes takes half an hour or so to get a photo. Its not for filming, there is no SD card or batteries and the LCD screen is always upside down and can only really be viewed using a dark cloth......I know most of you will already realize this but the security at QUT campus do not, even when you show them, as I was ordered off campus while trying to take a photo of the old Queensland parliament house, which is a public building. Just venting my frustrations of peoples ignorance. This little beauty I picked up on holidays at Easter from a little old wares and antique store. The shutter was seized but I managed to get it moving while in the store and was other wise clean. The lady in the store said she was negotiable with the price and the ticket was already discounted a few times so I low balled offered what I thought the lens was worth and to my surprise she accepted. Dropped the shutter off at the local camera repair shop for a service and is now firing spot on again. Graflex Graphics View ii with an old Linhof air piston shutter with 210mm lens. 8

How things have changed, back then there were all push bikes and motorised scooters were just a luxury. I saw little old ladies deliver things like a walking balancing scale. No such thing as owning a car! Now they tell me push bikes are only used for leasure such as keeping fit its only 27C but the humidity gets to you. You sweat like crazy, the body is not use to it! I hate to say it but the Chinese are wild on the roads, no one follownthe road rules and you play Frogger being a predestrian at a pedestrian crossing!
soundbyte Posted May 5, 2017 Posted May 5, 2017 Had a garden visitor this morning who was very co-operative, sat around for some time interspersed with flitting to the ground feeding. 11
