I was in the garden and had to take a step back

Another snake - what is it with me and snakes ?

Boddy on this snake is twice the thickness of my arm

It was well hidden and camouflaged so I took this photo from a short distance

Edit - Added a third photo he has curled up to settle for the night ?

We only have 3 species here is Tas - Tiger, Copperhead & White-lipped. All are venomous.

Having said that, I don't expect to see any of these in my suburban garden.....

I would absolutely soil my trousers if I did.....

A back yard in pristine condition. When I was a boy the hills Hoist was the only piece of play equipment any child had...or needed. Even has the old incinerator up the back.

White Sheets on the hills hoist.

awty has been on fire of late. In fact the whole thread has been strong. I'm here to balance that out.

I tried taking a street scene through one of those business rolladors that have lots of little openings covered in heavy duty plastic.

Nudgee Beach.

8x10 darkroom print scan of a 35mm negative @ about 22mm focal length. Bit messy need to work on my dodge and burns.

It got a bit foggy earlier this evening, so I wandered down to the park at the end of the street and took a moon shot:
