hired goon Posted August 9, 2017 Posted August 9, 2017 Testing out the new 16-35 lens: Nikon D750 camera + Nikkor 16-35 lens @ 16mm, f/8, ISO 100, 10 seconds. Played around a lot with colour on this one, so not natural looking at all I like the extra reach of the 16-35/4 over the 20/1.8, although it's not quite as sharp, and doesn't handle points of light as well --Geoff 5 2

Misternavi Posted August 10, 2017 Posted August 10, 2017 Had to get a shot of T Whitten Bridge for a client, Was only doing a location scout to work out a time but I was playing around with the HDR settings on the canon 5D MK3. Works great! only wish I bought a wider lens than the 50mm. 3

In lieu of a wide angle lens, you could always take a few shots and use a panoramic stitching program like Microsoft ICE (freeware) cheers mick

These were taken at the Royal Botanic Gardens in Cranbourne, the post from yesterday were from French Island, and the ones from last weekend were from The Briars in Mt Martha. EDIT: There were a number of other bird varieties which I also photographed at these locations besides the ones I post here. The variety should also increase as we head into Spring.
