[This is straight out of camera.

The only thing I did try was a bit of unsharp mask in CS2

The one on the right is with no PP, Third PP IN Canon dpp.

I did notice a differance in sharpness when zoomed in.

Great building. Great pics. Thanks JCR. :)

Hi wolster,

Thanks for the kind words. :)

Went to my neighbour for a X'mas drink this afternoon, the cup cakes were so colourful and tempting...

The X'mas tree is really tall, takes up the void area of the atrium...

You have some great photo's there Jack

No more from me until I get a new monitor, I have known that my desktop monior has been on the way out for a while so I have been using my laptop to edit my photo's but is dead ATM, so editing my photos is out for me until I get a new laptop or new monotor for my desk top, I have been checking out the Dell UltraSharp U2410 24-inch IPS Display.

Hi JCR

Lovely pix of QVB - were they all hand held and what gear did you use?

Cheers

mick

Hi mick,

Thanks.

I was using a Leica M8.2 with this 50 years old lens. All taken while me and others were walking...

Hi JCR

Love the look of that Leitz - I used to use Leitz binoculars for work in the 1970s, but I left the job and the binoculars stayed behind - they were lovely glass though. I think I was on the massive salary of $10400 at the time, and the binoculars cost $700, Govt wholesale price.

Cheers

Hi

Took these shots recently - not so great technically but a good story - makes one wonder where the word cuckold comes from....

taken on our trip to France last year. We had a very wet ascent of Col de Agnes in the Pyrenees and at the Col we were lucky enough to see a cloud rolling in over the pass. Wet climbs are always much more atmospheric!

cool, self portrait? Pencil?

Not a self portrait and not pencil. It is a 0.1 mm technical drawing pen, took over 3 months to complete and being ink is very hard to cover any stuff ups.

If you look closely you can see the dots., its all dots.
