hypernox2001 Posted February 28, 2021 Posted February 28, 2021 Hi I recently purchased a Bluesound Vault 2i. I would like to change the inbuilt power supply to an external linear PSU to improve the sound but was told to get a PSU interface online first. I scour the internet but could not find the PSU interface for the vault 2i on its own without being bundled together with the linear PSU. Any kind souls can help me with this?
Rapidrippa257 Posted June 14, 2023 Posted June 14, 2023 Mate I sent my Bluesound Vault 2 to the Uk to Fidelity Audio to get the PSU upgrade. They also have a range of other upgrades that are very expensive for the Vault. Unfortunately I couldn't get it past customs without paying $800 and the Item was sent back. I was really pissed off. The only way to get it past customs free of charge is not to insure it so they don't know the cost of it. I wasn't willing to do that that. I can't see anywhere in Aus where the Vault can be sent for uprade. If you have any luck please let me know.

SonicArt Posted June 15, 2023 Posted June 15, 2023 What is the standard power supply with the vault? Specs would be helpful, and if you have any links or info to what they do in order to feed it with a linear supply, or DC maybe? supply that would help too. I build battery power supplies and have quite a few customers using them on switches, routers, streamers etc, with a c-tek charger connected to the special c-tek port it a set and forget installation and all legal AU complied 240v section.
