Selling the player with a remote controller. This is a good replacement for Oppo 4K UHD player. It comes with stock firmware so pls dun ask me whether it is custom firmware or where and how to get the custom firmware. I bought the player strictly for its build quality and performance. It plays all region 4K UHD discs but region locked to A for Blu-ray titles. For DVDs, I believe it is region locked to “3” as well but I never have any DVDs in my collection to actually try it. Those I have are home-made titles created by me and clearly not region locked. Read the stellar reviews from various AV gear sites online. I've included a couple of reviews for you:

The player supports Dolby Vision, HLG & HDR10. Able to play SACD (hence earned the title of a universal player). Streaming via UPnP from NAS is supported. Loading time for 4K titles is fast. So don’t worry.

Used sparingly. In excellent condition. Comes with the original remote controller and box. Bought it sometime in Nov 2019. No more warranty.

Price is firm as it is very reasonable imo. No need to bargain as you should know this is one of the highly sought-after universal players since the departure of Oppo from the universal player business (only true blue AV fans will know what I mean). Another reason why it is so sought after is due to its ability to do custom firmware (jailbreak) to play BD ISO and make it region-free for all Blu-ray playback. I have never tried that since my primary usage is for 4K UHD titles and not Blu-ray or DVDs. If you really want to install custom firmware, there is a site to do it (I can provide you the link) but do it at your own risk. Don’t come crying to me when it’s bricked. I am not interested to hear your sobbing tale. You have been warned.

Interested party, drop me a chat to deal. Lowballers will not get any reply from me. Alternatively, WhatsApp/sms at 89325296 to deal. Self collect at my place in Yishun.

Update (26 May):
Thanks to a member here who informed me that Anson Audio does provide a custom firmware update for a fee of $400 for this UDP-LX500. In my opinion, it is not worth it but if you have the moola ($$$), I won't stop you.
