nedrum Posted July 8, 2021 Posted July 8, 2021 Further information: Bought a number of years ago off this very forum, I'm finally passing on this great sounding CD in excellent condition. I'd say it leans to 'resolving' rather than 'forgiving' and think this review sums it up nicely: http://www.soundstagenetwork.com/revequip/opera_cd120.htm I have original box and manual so can offer shipping if required. One issue: I fired it up and the unit performed flawlessly, however I couldn't get the remote to work. Page 3 of the User Manual includes details on what the remote can do in addition to just the unit - https://www.manua.ls/opera-consonance/cd-120-balanced/manual?p=3 Specifications DAC resolution : 24bit 192KHz multilevel sigma-delta with synchronous upsampling Clock Jitter : Less than 14ps directly distributed to DAC 0dBFS signal output : 2.3V RMS Output Terminals : Gold plated Phono/RCA unbalanced and gold plated XLR balanced Frequency response : Less than +/- 0.1 dB deviation 20Hz-20kHz Phase response : Less than 2 degrees deviation 20Hz-20kHz Signal-to-noise ratio : More than 105dB Crosstalk : Less than -100dB Distortion : Less than 0.002% Intermodulation : Less than 0.002% (19kHz + 20kHz) Remote Control : Philips RC-5 compatible IR system 36kHz modulation frequency Dimensions / Weight : 8cm x 43cm x 29cm (HxWxD) / 10kg Photos: 1
alowe Posted July 8, 2021 Posted July 8, 2021 Very good CD player at a very good price. I would think this would worth more even though the remote is not working. GLWS.
nedrum Posted July 8, 2021 Author Posted July 8, 2021 I think you're right given the amount of interest in the first 3mins of the add being up! Still happy it's going to someone on the forum though 1
