Always love “Bosch”, now enjoying the 2nd season of the Prime “Bosch:Legacy” series. Although I also always get an unsettled anxious feeling whenever I see his gorgeous hifi equipment in the blazing LA sun. ☀️

Yeah I don't mind Bosch and the old crew....just get bored by his superwoman in disguise daughter!...Tune out with the phone when I hear her voice come on!

Yes

I suffered through first 2 episodes of legacy 2 in the hope she was about to be removed

Very disappointed at her heroic survival

Mind you a sad Bosch might be a bit much

No chance of him having a shave if that happened 😄

Fecking heroic! is an understatement!  TV would make even the old model 'twiggy' into a superstar!

Never released one drop of sweat whilst buried underground in a box in a desert!

With no light managed to kill a lethal scorpion with her handcuffed hands whilst buried in a dark wooden box!

Managed to put up a fight against a huge male adversary that even I would have trouble subduing...

Runs over three city blocks to catch a young male crook without any deep breathing or sweating...

Wears her holstered pistol on her right side whilst being left handed...not an issue....

Gives her attempted rape assailant the biggest coherent dressing down in court....not one umm and or arrr...

Manages to become a rookie detective in the blink of an eye from being a boot...

If Bosch leaves and she becomes the star of the next Bosch Series I'm outskie!

I think they are setting up for a Bosch junior in 20 years time

With a completely different actor and Bosch in a nursing home

She will have a deep and dark behavioural pattern as solves crimes linked back to her time buried under the sand

Scorpions will be a feature of her nightmares😄

For syfy fans The Lazarus Project S2 has started.

I was watching S4 of Peaky Blinders and the great character Actor Aidan Gillen (GOT) makes an appearance.  I did a search of his recent jobs and came across the Irish Drama 'Kin'.

General very solid reviews.   I watched S1 Eps 1 the other night and think it is well worth a further look.

Going with SBS movies showing recently, sat entranced through this whole film - and that is no exaggeration. If you enjoy great acting beautifully photographed and directed with plot twists as well... you will love this movie.

A couple of shows have returned........

Firstly The Lazarus Project is quite mesmerising.    Just when it has a scene where I think it has 'Jumped the Shark', the next scene is brilliant.  Clever twists abound, but with all time travel there are some 'plot holes'.

Slow Horses - Season 3.   Off to a flier in Eps 1.    Mr Lamb (Gary Oldman) is as grotty, cynical and grumpy as ever.   They haven't washed his attire in 3 seasons and he is not a poster child for 'Politically Correct Leadership' styles.

The Artful Dodger -  Season 1.   If you want to see an acting master class, then you will get it with David Thewlis as Fagan.

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt20285780/

Thomas Brodie-Sangster as The Dodger is effortless in this version.   Great Aussie Cast supports.    A terrific boys own romp with a twist on the old story.

Fargo -  Simple joy's of TV viewing is a new season of Fargo.    Stellar cast with Juno Temple and John Hamm stealing every scene.    Sure they have kept the overall recipe the same as past Seasons, but what's not to love about a great Cake.

Time - S2 just arrived but I haven't seen it yet.    Season 1 with Sean Bean and Stephen Graham was a ripper.

https://www.comparetv.com.au/news/time-tv-show-release-date-and-where-to-watch-in-australia/

Reacher - Season 2 starts on the 15th December.

Letterkenny - season 12 and the last, drops on 26th December.    So Christmas debauchery awaits.

Damn we will miss you, Miss Katy.   Yowza!

Happy viewing.

Good fun so far... if they can abstain from too many 'x' runs frantically around London locations. Season 2 was a bit duller and too predictable.

Reacher II first 3 Episodes dropped-- Ep1 confusing no real plot line yet some time warp sequences need to digest --seems Ok though--he's full of Angst in this one though I reckon it'll get lot rougher that V1-!

Vigil  - Season 2 is very watchable.    Suranne Jones and Rose Leslie can act.

Bookie - 25 minute comedy episodes created by the guru of comedy shows Chuck Lorre.   The main character is stand up comedian Sebastian Maniscalco.    Worth a look.   Not LOL but some very witty and sharp lines.   Darker humor.

Happy viewing.

Loving Reacher S2.   2 eps in and Reacher just seems more Reacherish.   He is darker and more intense in this one.   Just like I imagine him.    Having Neagley and O'Donnell making fun of him helps.     So far, so good.

I loved this quote from a critic on Rotten Tomatoes.

If dad rock was a TV show, this would be it. And it’s rocking amazing.

Such good fun.  The pipe boom was a classic.

Finished The Artful Dodger.     What a great show.     Real boys' own stuff with some old fashion ripping yarns.    The caliber of the cast was outstanding.  David Thewlis as Fagin stole every scene he was in.      Great writing.   Well worth a look for some simple TV fun done well.

Fingers crossed Season 2 gets a run.

Critics and Non Critics a trashing it left, right and centre

Perfectly awful. from casting to script to execution. Pretty shameless Star Wars story rip off, Mos Isley bar scene and Darth Vader-like villain repair scene, and convoluted genealogical daddy-daughter sub plot included. Good one to miss and reward yourself with precious minutes of lifetime saved.
