Addicted to music Posted September 5, 2021 Posted September 5, 2021 Waited 35mins for a few items from. Bunnings in lock down 1.0…..hence the reason I refused to do this in lockdown 6.0 haven’t bought anything from Bunnings for a while now! Wondering if there process has improved. Office Works has a Wednesday pick up after an order is replaced, therefore rather get from JB for $17 more! JB has the best so far, ordered, got email to pickup, arrived at the pick up point and replied with a car registration, less than 5 mins wait, product in hand…..all within 15mins from paid online; brilliant! Won’t buy fruit or veggies, can’t trust someone decision on this neither meat, must be there to see it! So go to supermarkets during less busy times like 1st thing in the mornings…
metal beat Posted September 5, 2021 Posted September 5, 2021 Ordered a 40m lan cable from Officeworks. Click n collect said available next day. 30 minutes later said it was ready 1

BuzzzFuzzz Posted September 5, 2021 Posted September 5, 2021 (edited) My nearest Bunnings is an hour drive and well outside my LGA. I rang to get a quote for delivery of 4 packs of 100mm Whites Pads ( cost about $26.00 ). That will be $120.00 thankyou. Yeah, thanks but, no thanks. Rang my Bro, who slipped to his local Bunnings. $18.00 Aust. Post. Thankyou very much. Edited September 5, 2021 by BuzzzFuzzz 1

You’re lucky Aus post came to your rescue. I’ve been waiting 12 days for a book being sent by aus post from Melbourne to Canberra. I know aus post is reducing services and deliveries, but their delivery reductions are really hurting the small businesses (and customers) who are now relying on aus post because we are not allowed to physically go into the shops. 1
GregWormald Posted September 5, 2021 Posted September 5, 2021 (edited) Ordered some port and bubbles from Dan. They texted "ready" in 10 min. Arrived to pick it up in 30 minutes and it was at the front counter packed and waiting. Ordered a fire extinguisher from the local Repco, on sale. They texted ready in 15 minutes and when I arrived it was in the car in 3-4 minutes. Edited September 5, 2021 by GregWormald 1
Cloth Ears Posted September 5, 2021 Posted September 5, 2021 Ordered from Dan's - Macallan (mentioned somewhere else). Ready to go in about 30 minutes. Noticed that Coopers Vintage was there when I went to the store, but the Whisky was 5 minutes away out the back. Bunnings is a little more disorganised, but they are fairly consistent with the times from arrival to loading of the car. About 20-25 minutes. But their time to filling the order (and getting notification to you) is often variable (not including special order items). Last weekend it was nearly 24 hours from order to notification - but pickup was the same timeframe. And if you need it...you need it! 1

Also not on time as promised either, so lost a full day of work waiting….. if you get anything from Bunnings delivered, ensure to give them a day leeway. 1

I dunno about trade customers, but it's definitely not worth it for ordinary joes (or CEs). Essentially they charge you to rent the ute/truck to do the delivery. We need 3 sheets of that (almost) see through stuff to do up or laundry entrance. $180, so double the price! Will wait for lockdown to end and then just get it and strap it to the roof of the car (on a non-windy day). 2
