Outstanding playlist on Mother Earth Radio at the moment.  Particular highlights from last hour:

Faith No More;

Santana,

Fugazi,

Sinatra, and

Miles Davis.

Just brilliant stuff and sounding amazing in 24/96 via Roon.

JB Toronto is good, others in lossless include SoulCity, Intense, LapFox and Zappa for your fill of everything Frank. More and more lossless available and it pays to check occasionally what is new in the fold.

Hi - sorry for delayed response.  I needed a break from all the toxic crap on this site.

I generally use Roon for all my internet radio, and this is my source for 90% of listening to Mother Earth.  I highly recommend Roon for internet radio generally as it’s brilliant for unifying all the options together and you can integrate web streams in if you cannot find natively in the menu.

Mother Earth is available in the Internet radio menu of the Cambridge Audio EVO amplifier we use at the office.

There is also a web stream for Mother Earth that I can see has been linked above for you.

For future reference you can find web stream sources to most high res radio stations here:

https://www.hiresaudio.online/hires-internet-radio/

Example:

have fun!

In a bit of an electronic/deep house vibe at the moment and found this channel streaming FLAC via Roon or via their quite excellent web player.  Not sure i would consider it 'chill' but a very enjoyable european style deep house channel which sounds fantastic in FLAC.

EDIT: also note that there is 2 seperate streams (in both 320 and FLAC) and you can skip tracks back and forward for each via the webplayer.

Yeah I’m on a few and they all have their moments.  But this one is particularly bad for gate keeping and all the wink wink nudge nudge stuff.  Folks are way to sensitive here if their world view is challenged.  But then I remind myself to go listen to music and forget about it.

I don't own any PS Audio products (yet!), but I enjoy Copper Magazine and Paul McGowen's newsletters.

Octave records is part of the PS Audio family and now have an internet radio stream.

Stream is MP3 at 192kbps.  Not high-res, but the quality of recording and mastering on their material easily qualifies it for inclusion in this thread.  Happy listening!

This is the 'Octave Radio' page.

Highway 61 Internet radio is another cracking station

Thanks James.  I added it to my favourites over the weekend.

Interesting listening.  I like the little Bob Dylan soundbites scattered throughout the content.  He has such great stories.

Looks like a US-based station on the surface, but I poked around and it looks like it's actually out of Hobart, TAS, here in Australia but it broadcasts a number of syndicated programs from all over the globe as well as locally produced programming.

Glad you are enjoying it, I actually found it by accident on a squeezebox radio under the folk music category and have listened to it ever since. Interesting to find out based in Tasmania, I also thought it was US. Incidentally I have the app on my phone and when I tap on location in about info it shows as Canberry ACT wherever that may be.

Canberra, ACT is our national capital.

Maybe that's the default location for Australian stations if the specific location is not disclosed?

I need to stay up late and listen to the Bob Dylan Theme Time Radio Hour one night!

What a great little thread. And what a truly wonderful and eclectic mix! Fugazi and Sinatra have never been grouped together before 😁.

Dutch station - PureClassix Radio - has a great audio quality output of 60's 70's and 80's classic pop/rock. No adverts but you do get the odd "classic" Dutch or Belgian song thrown in.

MotherEarth Radio sounding superb this morning on the main rig.  Primus live streamed at 4816kbps cranked up to 105dB peak.  Outstanding!

I love MotherEarth and I love high speed broadband that makes it possible!
