I have a pair of Kef Concertos (the older racetrack B139 version)and have recently re-capped the crossovers with copies of the original caps from Falcon Acoustics in the UK. I'm thinking about re- wiring the drivers now. What gauge wire should I use?

Stereo Coffee, good suggestion, you could go as thick as practical on the bass drivers in a 3 way

I would use three gauges relative to the drivers and their frequency ability   AWG 10 for bass   ,  AWG 15 for midrange  and AWG 20 for tweeter.

Hope that helps

Thanks for that, I had no idea they would need different gauges. Cheers.

@Tom M how did you get on with this? I have some concerto’s with racetrack drivers, I actually am unsure how to remove them from the front baffle (got the screws off, but then they seem pretty well stuck in there)  photos are with screws still in)

If you can get the screws out, then just use a small piece of wire (coat hanger) with a hook bent into the end or a small flat blade screwdriver.  You should be able to put it in the screw hole and get it in between the metal and cabinet to pry it loose. Get ready when the speaker does come free because they're heavy. Cheers

like tom said they are heavy so when removing drivers from cabinet's  it is best to lay the speaker on its back then you have control of the driver.
