Further information: Today we have the excellent Krell KPE MM/MC phono stage with optional power supply. This well built phono preamp that offers very credible performance—especially dynamically—for the price, as well as outstanding configurability. On sale in the shop for $1200 but StereoNET members can take it home for just $1000.

Voltage gain (at 1kHz): 58dB–76dB in 6dB increments.
S/N Ratio: 80dB, A-weighted.

Input impedance: adjustable, 10 ohms to 47k ohms.
