dwbasement Posted March 17 Posted March 17 (edited) 6201 is premium quality of 12at7, PW = pinched waist, the shape of the tube. You can google it, should have plenty of info. Have fun with your new amp! Edited March 17 by dwbasement 1

Silver Audiophile Posted March 25 Posted March 25 (edited) The 211 monos playing in my system.. Edited March 25 by Silver Audiophile 7 1
Silver Audiophile Posted March 26 Posted March 26 (edited) It uses a pair of Penta Laboratories 211 tubes. I'm not able find detailed specifics, other than the company existed since 1951 (US based), and that these tubes were likely Chinese produced and are modern era reproductions of GE or RCA 211 tubes. The later (GE/RCA) being more sought after for warmth and refinement. Below is that 211 tube amp in @Chemout2 my mates system. Edited March 26 by Silver Audiophile 4
Silver Audiophile Posted March 26 Posted March 26 Short video clip in my mate's system. His room characteristics are different to mine. Otherwise, we used similar other gear. 6
Artnet Posted March 26 Posted March 26 A little glimpse of a 71A finally lit up. More snaps when it's back in my system. Pretty little amp with and equally attractive top end. Very interesting tube. 8
