Very Musically sounding CD player They run the original Philips CDM-1 Mechanism with tda1541a DAC. They do not make them like this anymore especially with the full steel CDM1 Mechanism which is indestructible Comes with the original remote and manual - this unit was bought from Frank Prowse hifi over 20 years ago. Anthony King Posted October 24, 2021 Posted October 24, 2021 Hi Thi, I have the same model and find its still a wonderful reproducer of the CD format. I use it in analogue but also have used it direct to my Mac for recording. Unfortunately the transport belt has perished and I have to manually operate to use. There may also be a fault in the tray LED sensors which stops it from registering the metadata so registers no disc. I would recommend this model to anyone who is looking for musical enjoyment. Regards Anthony
