xlr8or Posted July 3, 2024 Posted July 3, 2024 An extradionary local deal here on eBay for what look to be 14 NOS Sylvania made version 1 (10 + 4) 7F7 loktal tubes from 1942. The distinct feature here is the presence of the solid copper rod between the 2 mica plates and the black anode plates. This is an excellent 6SL7 substitute with tube adapter. In fact, it's one of the most rarest 6SL7 tube substitutes to find with a metal base as Sylvania 6SN7's made around the same period were all made with a metal base. Sylvania made 6SL7's do not appear until 2 years later. https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/256561681463 https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/256538465003 3
