Cinema enthusiasts will love this one, with the chance to experience the Christie M 4K25 RGB Projector, along with Lumagen and Storm Audio, and finally the first public demo of Australia's Elementi Audio cinema speakers. Guest Posted November 14, 2021 Posted November 14, 2021 Less than a week to go! When I booked flights I really didn't expect it to happen - expecting borders to be slammed shut for one reason or another. But, it seems (at least right now), we're all set to go!

Guest Posted November 22, 2021 Posted November 22, 2021 What a fantastic night at @Wavetrain on Saturday night. Firstly, a huge thanks to David Moseley and co. for their hospitality, and for throwing open the doors for StereoNET members to experience all that Wavetrain offers its customers. This was a purely social event, with absolutely no hard sell or any obligation. It was merely a chance for readers to get together and meet others, and experience seriously high-end cinema systems that it fair to say, left all who attended most impressed. Wavetrain featured two independent cinemas with a variety of projection (that Christie is seriously powerful - I look forward to experiencing the finished product), and of course both featuring Wavetrain's own Elementi Audio brand. Any doubts about the potential of this relatively new brand to the Australian cinema speaker market were soon forgotten from the first scene in either cinema. These speakers have serious control, fearsome dynamic ability, and a refinement that allows very high output with absolutely no fatigue and are entirely smooth to listen to. They remained composed no matter how hard they were challenged, and just got out the way allowing you to be totally immersed in the action. Speaking to anyone in the two alternating demo groups that attended, the feedback was the same. David was most happy to share his knowledge with cinema enthusiasts and it was great to hear some quite in-depth conversations about everything from designing cinemas, to optimising them and getting the very best audio-visual performance. It was also great to meet many of our Sydney-based (and very enthusiastic and knowledgeable) readers who were also very friendly and welcoming for my first visit north of the VIC/NSW border in two years Thanks to all who attended, and again to Wavetrain for the experience. I look forward to more GTGs there, and do yourself a favour and get along to the next one if you missed this. You'll also be able to experience Elementi at the 2022 StereoNET Hi-Fi Show in Melbourne, June 3rd-5th 2022 - Tickets on sale now! You can also find out more here for Wavetrain Cinemas or Elementi Audio. 3
lucmor444 Posted November 22, 2021 Posted November 22, 2021 Thanks for the summary Marc and the photos. Keen to hear further impressions on the Elementis - particularly the Fire series (I have some on order purchased on good faith that they were going to hit the mark). 2
