For sale, a pair of JBL L96 delta speakers 

 

24 kgs a piece of classic JBL goodness

Purchased these beauties off a fellow sna member over a year ago and have thoroughly enjoyed my time with these balanced articulate and engaging speakers… 

but ————->>time to move them on! 

 

 

these speakers date from around 1982…

consecutive serial numbers

 

the cabinets are in very good

condition with light scratches here and there and some corners are scuffed.

All drivers are in fully functioning condition, the trim pots all work on the front baffles. 


woofers have been refoamed.

 

new speaker binding posts have been fitted. 


Grilles in great condition no tears. 

One of the more desirable “home” Hifi speakers jbl made.

Excellent JBL speakers, a real standout bookshelf of this era. These are only getting more expensive and at this price it's a great buy.

Bought a pair of L96s in 1985.

A friend has them now.

Still sounding and looking as good as when they were purchased.

They went really well with my Leak stereo 20.

Yes these speakers are SOLIDLY built. 
and I too used them with valves to good effect

Far out....Leak Stereo 20 is one of my all time favourite valve amps and to be able to run these JBL with the Leak is a very tempting proposition. Should I move on my SVA 2100......decision, decision.....
