Have set up.

 

Drivers are time aligned, which is nice.

I noticed the amp has vents on the top, so have set up with the TT off to the side.

 

VTA is definitely off, so will fix that.

After the usual 100 hours, you will find absolutely nothing changes, however the set will become more visually appealing as your eyes adjust to it in its new surroundings.

Like Black Disk, I also have the tweeters on the outside. Seems to throw a bigger soundstage that way. Early days still though.

While being a matched pair of speakers, in the design stage we absolutely tested with tweeters in and out, and found minute differences. Ultimately we decided to leave it up to the listener.  We do recommend the removal of the minifigure's headphones though for the best listening experience.

Marc just wondering if we'd get some sort of shipping notification once it's on its way or do we just wait in eager anticipation and it will turn up at any time.

 

Not sure if I made the cut for the first batch or will have to end up waiting! Just excited that's all. I had told myself earlier this year I'd like to get myself some Lego for Christmas (reliving childhood) and then this comes along...could not resist.

Yes, there is a shipping notification when an order ships along with a tracking number. Just checked, yours was picked up yesterday. It's on its way :)

Love the little details on the sets. Whoever designed these and the instructions deserve some serious recognition!

There were only 20 sets in the first batch.

The second batch (which we only ordered enough parts for) was determined by how popular they seemed to be. There's a hell of a lot of time putting them all together, and then managing the orders and shipping them out. It's done out of fun, rather than for commercial reasons but I think it's a great marketing tool.

 

We hope to have enough parts for another 60 sets this time around. We probably won't continue doing them after that.
